Discover the secrets of the peninsula of Sint Philipsland! Pretty soon you arrive at the Rumoirtschorren, a breathtaking nature reserve on the north side of the island. Here you can enjoy the salt marshes rich in birds, where waders such as the silver plover and the ruddy godwit make their home.
Cycling further, you pass the village of Sint Philipsland. Nearby is Het Rammegors, a former silt depot transformed into a beautiful nature reserve as part of the Delta Works. This area is also a true paradise for bird lovers, with meadow birds, ducks and even spoonbills during migration. Binoculars will definitely come in handy here!
After passing the De Hoop windmill, all that remains is to take a break at junction 97. There you can admire the beautiful view over the Krabbenkreek from the dike.
